Application Programmer
Under immediate supervision of Vice President of Information Technology, assists in research and fact-finding to develop or modify information systems to meet the business requirements of PCI. Assists in preparing detailed specification from which programs will be written. Duties include designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and maintaining those programs. An employee in this position must have sufficient educational background and/or experience in programming technology in use at PCI in order to perform application systems programming assignments.

Requirements:

Essential Functions
Include the following.
Assists in writing and maintaining software/hardware applications.
Programs coding from documented logic and instructions.
Performs limited systems analysis work.
Prepares program documentation.
Assists in preparing program test data, and in testing and debugging of programs.
Assist Microsoft Dynamics users with problem issue.

Specific Job duties / responsibilities
Microsoft Dynamics GP accounting system
oClient support
oApplication programming
oSystem maintenance
oData support for PCI Website
oThird party support (StarShip, Credit Card Advantage, ZipAssist, etc.)
oPC and Mac hardware/software
General application programming providing information to PCI departments
oExecutive staff
oSales reps
oOperations: Customer Services, Finance and Fulfillment
oProduct Development
Backup to the Network Manager
SQL server security, table creation, SQL Reporting and stored procedure maintenance

Education and/or Other Requirements
High school diploma with course work in such areas as accounting, business administration, statistics, mathematics and/or computer science from a recognized college or university.
At least one year of application programming experience.
